1. Purpose
This Disclaimer explains important limitations of the CodeDreams Service. It supplements the Terms of Service and does not replace them. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms.
2. AI and generated code
AI can misunderstand a request and can generate inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, biased, inappropriate, nonfunctional, or unexpectedly similar material. Generated code may contain bugs, accessibility problems, performance issues, security weaknesses, or third-party material subject to separate rights.
Safety scanning and build checks reduce risk but do not prove that a project is safe, original, lawful, reliable, or fit for a particular use. The account holder must review, test, and approve the final project before using or publishing it. Do not use generated output in a system where an error could cause physical, financial, legal, educational, or other serious harm.
3. Safety systems
CodeDreams uses input filters, generated-code rules, database constraints, authorization, rate limits, owner controls, reports, and moderation. These controls are defence in depth, not a guarantee. Language changes, attackers adapt, context matters, and automated systems can both miss unsafe material and block harmless material.
A safety label, successful publish, visible comment, or accepted score does not mean CodeDreams has endorsed or manually reviewed it. Report a concern promptly and stop a child from using the affected feature while a serious concern is investigated.
4. Educational information
Lessons, explanations, examples, feedback, and project suggestions are general educational material. CodeDreams does not guarantee learning outcomes, grades, school credit, certification, curriculum alignment, admission, employment, or compliance with a school's rules about AI. Educators and account holders should independently assess suitability.
5. No professional advice
CodeDreams does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, investment, safety, or other professional advice. AI output and user-created apps must not be relied upon for diagnosis, treatment, crisis response, legal rights, financial decisions, or emergencies. Contact a qualified professional or local emergency service when appropriate.
6. Public and community content
Published apps, display names, comments, votes, and leaderboard entries are created by users. They may be inaccurate, offensive, infringing, deceptive, or unsuitable despite moderation. CodeDreams does not adopt user content as its own and is not responsible for copies, screenshots, search results, or archives outside its control.
“Unlisted” is link-accessible, not confidential. Never publish private information, passwords, credentials, payment details, precise location, school details, or content you do not have permission to use.
7. Leaderboard integrity
Scores are submitted by code running in a player's browser. CodeDreams uses origin validation, keyed network digests, name binding, profanity screening, score limits, durable rate limits, row caps, key rotation, and owner clearing controls to deter manipulation. These measures cannot prove that a score resulted from ordinary gameplay or stop every determined attacker.
Leaderboards are for casual play and must not be used to award money, prizes, grades, admission, or another benefit requiring verified results. Project owners should clear or disable a board when integrity is in doubt.
8. Third-party services
Authentication, AI, sandboxes, databases, hosting, deployments, payments, packages, and other infrastructure may be provided by third parties. Their availability, output, licences, and security are partly outside CodeDreams' control. A link or integration does not mean we endorse all third-party material or practices.
9. Availability and data
The Service may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, network failure, abuse response, software defects, or events outside reasonable control. Previews, deployments, project history, and public links may fail or change. Keep independent copies of important work and do not use CodeDreams as the sole repository for irreplaceable data.
10. Parent and guardian supervision
CodeDreams supports, but does not replace, responsible adult supervision. An adult should help a young builder choose appropriate ideas, avoid personal information, review AI output, test projects, decide whether to publish, understand public interactions, and approve every subscription or payment.
11. Legal effect and contact
If this Disclaimer conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control. Nothing here excludes a warranty, consumer guarantee, privacy obligation, child-safety duty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Questions or safety reports can be sent to support@codedreams.org. Also review the Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
